Free Art Workshops!

On the occasion of its 125th anniversary, the Hrvatski školski muzej (Croatian School Museum) is offering the public free creative art workshops, which will be held until June 2026.

In collaboration with academic painter Luka Kušević and Petra Kovačić, mag. educ. art., we are organizing creative art workshops for children, youth, and adults as part of the ART ZA KVART project.

Traces of the Earth – Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 5 PM to 7 PM

Academic painter Luka Kušević will guide you through a cycle of art workshops that explore the relationship between humans and the environment through art, observation, and imagination. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Per Kirkeby, Sean Scully, and J. M. W. Turner, participants will enter the world of geopoetic exploration, developing a sense of space, nature, and the interconnectedness of the world around us through their own artistic expression. Create new memories through artistic exploration of nature!

The workshops will take place at the Muzej suvremene umjetnosti, Paris Room of the Croatian School Museum (3rd floor), Avenija Dubrovnik 17, Zagreb.

Art as Therapy – Patch of Emotions – Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10 AM to 12 PM

Under the guidance of Petra Kovačić, Saturday workshops titled Art as Therapy are organized as relaxing and creative weekend sessions. Start your weekend with calming creative work and imagination development through various techniques. This Saturday, we will release emotions through doodling, then learn basic embroidery and create our own unique fabric patch. No prior experience is required. Allow yourself a moment of peace, inspiration, and personal growth through art.

The workshops will be held at the Croatian School Museum gallery “Školica za 5,” Hebrangova 5, Zagreb.
