The Croatian School Museum is implementing the project "From School Desks to Digital Screens – Bringing Heritage to Life through Technology" funded under the Erasmus+ programme, KA122-ADU – Short-term mobility projects for learners and staff in adult education. The project runs from 1 October 2025 to 31 March 2027.

Since the Museum has been operating without its own building or permanent exhibition since the 2020 earthquake, and carries out its educational activities under reduced spatial conditions and in the field, a need was identified to acquire new digital knowledge and skills that would enable a more contemporary presentation of cultural heritage and more accessible programmes for all groups of participants, including people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups.

As part of the project, three Museum representatives will attend professional training:

• The Museum director, Anita Zlomislić, and the Museum's external associate, Vesna Bradamante, one of the initiators of the project, will attend the course "Digital Tools for Cultural Heritage Education."
• The Museum's Head of Marketing, Marijana Bračić, will attend the course "AI-Powered Content Creation for Educators."

Each training course lasts six days, with a focus on the use of digital tools, multimedia resources, digital storytelling, and artificial intelligence in creating educational content and presenting museum materials. The courses are held at Europass Academy Athena Single Member S.A. in Athens, Greece.

The knowledge acquired will be disseminated in accordance with the project and applied in work with adult visitors and participants in museum workshops. Erasmus+ Enriching lives, opening minds.
